Anthropic has joined Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and other financial firms in launching a $1.5 billion AI venture fund targeting private-equity-owned companies. The vehicle aims to embed AI tools across PE portfolios, positioning Anthropic as a strategic vendor to the alternative-asset class.
This marks another major distribution play for Anthropic outside consumer and public-cloud channels—similar to its Snowflake partnership announced earlier this year. For enterprise CIOs, it signals tighter integration between LLM vendors and buy-side financial tech stacks.
