AWS WorkSpaces adds AI agent control for legacy desktop applications

InfoQ reports that AWS WorkSpaces has added capabilities allowing AI agents to directly interact with and control legacy desktop applications without requiring native API support.

The feature expands the deployment surface for autonomous agents into enterprises locked into older software stacks, lowering the barrier for enterprises to automate workflows without rearchitecting infrastructure.
