GlobalFoundries becomes first chipmaker to back AI open scale standard

GlobalFoundries announced it is the first chipmaker to support an open standard for AI scale-up, enabling interoperability across custom silicon designs. The move positions GF as a strategic partner for companies building specialized AI accelerators outside of NVIDIA's closed ecosystem.
