Lovable doubles valuation to $13.3B in Series C on $500M ARR; vibe coding moves to enterprise operations

Lovable, the Stockholm-based vibe-coding startup, has raised $400 million in a Series C round at a $13.3 billion valuation, led by Menlo Ventures and the Scaleup Europe Fund. This values the company at exactly double its Series B valuation of $6.6 billion from December 2025 — roughly eight months of 2x growth. The round drew participation from Tencent, Balderton Capital, Carmignac, and others, signaling continued investor appetite for AI-native software creation tools.

Lovable's revenue trajectory justifies the valuation delta. The platform crossed $500 million in annualized run-rate (ARR) in June 2026 and is projecting $600 million by end of August — a 3x jump since its December Series B. Since launch in November 2024, users have created 60+ million projects on the platform, with Lovable-built apps drawing 900 million visits monthly. Enterprise adoption is accelerating: nearly two-thirds of the Fortune 500 now use apps built on Lovable, up from half the Fortune 500 six months earlier.

The product is evolving beyond prototype-generation: Lovable is rolling out payments functionality, search-engine and AI-search integration, deeper enterprise SSO integrations with Workspace, Microsoft 365, Salesforce and others, automated security scanning, and governance controls to support deployed applications. The company plans to hire to ~450 employees in 2026, with emphasis on machine learning, infrastructure, and security — moving toward a full business-operating platform rather than a coding demo engine.

For architects, the message is dual. First: vibe-coding is moving from novelty to enterprise infrastructure, with revenue multiples validating the business model even as individual project retention remains unproven. Second: natural-language software creation is consolidating capital. Lovable competes against Cognition's Devin ($40B valuation target), SpaceX's Cursor ($60B acquisition), and GitHub Copilot. That competitive intensity means staying power depends on retaining users across multiple projects and moving from one-shot builds into recurring operations.
