Meshy AI closes $400M Series B at $1.5B valuation; ARR up 12x YoY with 12M users
Meshy, building foundation models for AI-powered 3D generation, raised nearly $400 million in a Series B round at a $1.5 billion valuation on July 21, making it the largest funding round for an AI 3D company to date. The round was led by IDG Capital, Matrix Partners China, and Monolith, with participation from all existing investors including Sequoia China.
From a single line of text or image, Meshy can generate a usable 3D model in about a minute. As of July 2026, the company's annual recurring revenue is growing about 12x year over year, with more than 12 million registered users and over 100 million models created. In a field where most companies have yet to reach meaningful revenue, Meshy has built its lead on real commercial performance.
The company introduced Meshy 3D Agent, the first conversational AI agent for 3D creation, which turns text, photos, or sketches into print-ready models. For 3D printing, it achieves a slicer success rate of up to 97%; for game development, it exports models compatible with Unity, Unreal, and Blender. Smart Topology generates 3D models with native geometry in about 10 seconds with controllable polygon count from 100 to 15,000, well-suited to game development and real-time rendering.
Meshy's reach already extends to the very top of the global economy: five of the world's ten largest technology companies by market capitalization or valuation have teams building with Meshy. For architects evaluating generative 3D tools, Meshy signals that commercial viability in AI 3D—moving from research to production—is now a venture-backed narrative. The 12x ARR growth and 97% print-success rate imply that game and 3D printing workflows are monetizing faster than expected, validating spatial-intelligence tooling as a category with real near-term ROI.
