NVIDIA partners with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, KKR to mobilize $500B AI infrastructure financing

NVIDIA announced partnerships with Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR on Monday to establish independent financing platforms designed to mobilize over $500 billion of third-party capital for AI infrastructure buildout over time. Signed memorandums of understanding aim to create the first compute financing platforms of their kind at global scale, helping frontier AI labs, enterprises and cloud providers access scarce capacity.

The platforms treat NVIDIA compute and AI factories as investable infrastructure—similar to commercial real estate or toll roads—recognizing that chips are now revenue-generating assets with long useful lives and redeployability across customers. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang noted the company has moved from selling chips project-by-project to enabling productive infrastructure that can be financed through independent institutional capital. NVIDIA may provide residual-value support of up to 25% on specific projects, but the capital providers independently underwrite each deal on merit.

Current GPU-hour pricing reflects the market's confidence: H100 cloud rates have risen from $1.70/hour (October 2025) to $2.35/hour (March 2026), while Blackwell B200 commands premiums of $5.30 to $7.05/hour. This financing milestone signals that AI compute has matured into an institutional asset class, unlocking capital for builders who lack direct balance-sheet access.
