Qualcomm closes $3.9B Modular acquisition for Mojo compiler, MAX inference engine to break CUDA lock-in

Qualcomm completed its all-stock acquisition of Modular on July 29, 2026, in a deal valued at approximately $3.9 billion (19.2 million Qualcomm shares).
