Simile closes $200M Series B at $2B valuation; raises $300M in under 6 months with 5x revenue growth

Simile, the Palo Alto-based AI startup building human behavior foundation models for enterprise simulation, closed a $200 million Series B at a $2 billion post-money valuation, led by Greenoaks with Index Ventures, Hanabi, Bain Capital, and CVS Health Ventures participating. The round comes just five months after the company emerged from stealth with a $100 million Series A, making Simile's total disclosed funding more than $300 million in under six months—one of the steepest early funding trajectories among enterprise AI startups in 2026.

Simile was founded by Stanford PhD Joon Sung Park (lead author of the 2023 UIST Best Paper "Generative Agents") alongside Michael Bernstein, Percy Liang, and Lainie Yallen. Since its February 2026 public launch, the company has achieved 5x revenue growth, expanded to over 50 employees globally, and deployed tens of millions of simulations for Fortune 100 customers including CVS (which tested 400,000 agentic twins to optimize patient medication adherence), Deloitte, and Wealthfront. The startup's pitch: simulate customer, patient, or employee responses to decisions before rolling them out, replacing slower and costlier traditional market research.

For product and strategy teams, this signals that behavioral simulation—running thousands or millions of synthetic scenarios through foundation models of human decision-making—is graduating from academic research to commercial infrastructure. The $2B valuation and rapid customer traction suggest enterprises are willing to pay for predeployment testing via simulation, offsetting the cost of traditional pilots and reducing time-to-decision in high-stakes domains like healthcare and fintech.
